The historic venue provides a magical setting for tying the knot, with the Battery Lawn atop the Fort providing the ultimate location.

With a backdrop of Sydney’s Opera House, Mrs Macquarie’s Chair and the sparkling harbour, this space promises the bride and groom a collection of unforgettable photos, while guests are treated to a day of luxury with 360-degree views of the city.
Guests arrive by boat to the iconic island and can be greeted with a glass of bubbly to start the day’s celebrations. As the exclusive caterer to the island, Tailored Events can take care of all the details, from organising a celebrant for your special day to having a string quartet to serenade guests on arrival.
The venue is also a spectacular setting for celebrating post-ceremony, offering stylish surrounds and several unique venues within the fort structure in the middle of Sydney Harbour.

I hope you're well. I can't believe it's over 2 weeks since the wedding - what a whirlwind!!!!! Firstly I wanted to thank you and your staff for helping to make our day so spectacular. The Fort looked amazing and we were thrilled by the ambiance, table decorations and setting. The evening really was perfect and the food was spectacular. Please do thank your chefs for a truly memorable meal. Many of my friends who are real foodies have said the fish was the best they've ever had!!! The guests felt truly spoilt and it is undoubtedly a wedding they'll remember for many years to come. Thanks so much for your role in that.
Also the wait-staff were fantastic, especially the gentleman who served the main table. He was so attentive, efficient and professional, and nothing was too much trouble. Please send him our sincere thanks - he was truly wonderful. The other staff were reportedly also fantastic, and even though I didn't interact with many of them, I've received glowing reports from our guests.
