The historic venue provides a magical setting for tying the knot, with the Battery Lawn atop the Fort providing the ultimate location.

With a backdrop of Sydney’s Opera House, Mrs Macquarie’s Chair and the sparkling harbour, this space promises the bride and groom a collection of unforgettable photos, while guests are treated to a day of luxury with 360-degree views of the city.
Guests arrive by boat to the iconic island and can be greeted with a glass of bubbly to start the day’s celebrations. As the exclusive caterer to the island, Tailored Events can take care of all the details, from organising a celebrant for your special day to having a string quartet to serenade guests on arrival.
The venue is also a spectacular setting for celebrating post-ceremony, offering stylish surrounds and several unique venues within the fort structure in the middle of Sydney Harbour.

Hi Liz!
I just want to say a massive THANK YOU for everything you did for our wedding. It was such an amazing night - rain or no rain - and I know that the Fort just blew the guests away. It was such a magical experience, that unfortunately, went by way too quick! Also thank you for getting the marquee set up for the ceremony, I know the rain threw things out a bit, but it was so beautiful inside and it just worked so well. It really felt intimate. And the guests just loved it.
Also the food was just beautiful (One of our guests was ex-masterchef and he said the food was absolutley exquisite!) Everything from the set up, to the bump in, decorations, food, service and attention to detail - you and your team did such a brilliant job and I cannot thank you enough. Also please thank Heidi, she was amazing and so professional. What a great team you have! And the farewell water taxi was just amazing - what a send off!
